One down, three to go

I'm on a tight schedule here, folks.

I have four shows on the horizon, three of which I require completed artwork in less than three weeks. *cue mild panic attack*

After procrastinating all through Christmas - as is my God-given right - I've finally knuckled down and finished the three pieces I'm submitting for the Linden Postcard Show. That's the one where I've already submitted the titles and now have to hope that what I draw will suit them

So without further ado, here's:

'Rosa', who reminds me of this commercial:

'Martinique', my sweet little Indian girl...

And 'Isabel' who'll protect her whale pals from boats with a flick of her hand.

Isabel could have been more aptly titled 'Hurricane Isabel' - or even 'Kraken' (as her hand is a bit giant-squidesque around that boat), but it's too late for that.

I didn't realise until I'd finished them all, that my blue Derwents seem to have taken over the pencil case. They'll have to sit out the next few dances, I can't cope with any more blue hair for a while!

xxx scarlett

PS. These are all in my Etsy shop as 5x7 prints and will be listed as limited edition ACEOs soon.

I did the same thing over Christmas, and now I've got 3 more days to finish the biggest single piece I've ever done. Yay me!

Love these new ones. That's a lot of shoes in a tiny amount of time! Have fun :)

Love Isabel. She reminds me of that scene from The Little Mermaid when Ursula turns into a gargantuan Octopus monster! Only prettier ;)
