A couple of new(ish) flirts

I've been busy putting together some pieces for the Brunswick Street Gallery's Small Works 08 show which starts this Friday.

I have to have four entries ready by then and I really only had today to work on them (yikes!).

So to save time I've found a couple of pieces I did earlier in the year that would be appropriate and I've framed them. I've also incorporated a girl I did a few weeks ago into a new piece called 'Silver Screen' (10 points to anyone who can read and guess what movie all the taglines are from!)

And I've painted a new girl called 'Coco' in gouache and pencil. I'm really happy with her - a little sad to send her off so quickly! Oh well, that's business isn't it.

If she does sell and I never see her again I know something that is certain to cheer me up.

One of these delicious little cupcakes my friend Kylie occasionally surprises me with. How bloody gorgeous is that soft pink icing. YUM!!

Love the Silver Screen one!

On another note - I wish I could wear a teacup in my hair...I wonder if you could start a hair accessory line ;]

Loving Coco and her unusual hair accessories! How can she have a teacup in her hair and still look sexy? I wish i could pull that off.

PS. I have got the new layout up featuring your lovely work. It is a bit different then what I showed you but heaps better so thought it would be sweet! :) Let me know what you think.
