Should I oil up?

Maybe it's time to open the turps again and find the oil paints. They've been sitting in the garage for months and my dining table has almost become...well, a dining table.

But I think this piece (currently an A4 pencil illustration with gouache highlights) would look great in oil paint, so perhaps this weekend I'll break out the brushes and give it a crack.

I think this piece is great as it is! But I know how it is when you put down a media for a while, sometimes you get a real yearning to do it again.

Hiiya,

I just love your work.

My name is Pearl and I'm starting a new venture offering shelf space for Self-representing artists to display, promote and sell their handmade products at one of Perth's major shopping centres, Westfield Carousel.

We intend to commence operations by late April or early May. And should this concept take off well, we intend to expand the concept to all the Westfield Shopping Centres across Australia.

Would have attached a copy of the flyer I've been handing out to hand-crafted artists at craft markets if I could. If you think you'd be interested, please don't hesitate to contact us to ask for an info pack.

Thank you.

Regards,
Pearl.
