Munny

I've been painting a Munny recently for the Villain Custom Toy Competition. The deadline is this Thursday, so I'd better paint fast!

While it's a hell of a lot of fun, I must admit I find painting a 3D figure rather challenging - if I'm not smudging an arm, I'm accidentally dipping a foot in the paint pot. In fact, I think I've managed to get more paint on my fingers than the figure.

She looks like this at the moment:

So I'm planning on adding more detail to the flower and giving her a glossy coat - which may just make all the colours run and destroy the whole thing. It should be an interesting week!

I think your Munny is adorable. Much nicer than the ones at the Munny site.

Beautiful! I've never heard of a Munny, but I think yours is lovely.

I'm usually not interested in the Munny's, but this one definitely caught me eye. Very nice.

That is so cute! I still haven't even started mine! You may have inspired me to have a go!

i just stumbled upon your website today (from www.weheartit.com) and i've spent the good part of an hour browsing old entries and looking at your drawings! they are absolutely divine!

I love the fact that you make them as cards as well, but have you thought of doing a sampler package of cards? say 10 cards all with different pictures/girls. i know i'd buy at least a couple of sets.

keep up the good work!

Thanks so much!

I hadn't really considered making a sample pack, but I'm going to put together a couple of different packs of 5 cards. Thanks for the suggestion!

She looks gorgeous Kate. I think you've done brilliantly transferring your girls to 3D. I can't imagine it's easy!

Goodluck! XX

No, I'm not entering any competitions just felt it was about time to get it out of the box and have a go. I kinda want to get another one now!
